Create a New Home Away From Home
Many of us have been there- made the transition geographically, uprooted from the familiarity of home and our support networks and moved to a new town. Sometimes it’s a new suburb or interstate or a new country. Many times there is a sense of loss, of grief, and the challenge of building new networks, new relationships, new beginnings. It’s exciting but also daunting and for many it’s lonely. At the next Women’s Well meeting we unpack how to assimilate and integrate into a new community and create a new home away from home.
